Monday 8 May 1905
The wind hushed and gone to
rest this morning and those lads
leave for Depauville. Rains again
towards night. V makes cabbage
bed and sows 4 papers of cabbage
seed and sets out the dahlias.
Tuesday 9 May 1905
A cold windy day and squally.
Maude paints the pantry and floor.
V finished setting strawberry plants.
700 plants. Dad plows.
I cook, wash dishes & churn.
Mail; Good Storries, Whig, Agricultral
dispatch, letter from Grace and
one from John. V tested the
eggs in incubator all good but
one, then he accidentaly broke one.
He set the alarm and got up twice
to examine the temperature in incubator
