1909 April Thursday 29th
A very fine morning but soon
became cloudy gathering for a storm.
Granddad [sic: Grandad] and Maud went to Kingston on
the boat. Wal drove over to dock while V helped
me get breakfast. R came over and helped get
dinner and staid till towards 4 pm then she
walked home. Wallace drove to the docks.
Grandad brought home a dog a nine months
old pup.
