March 20th Thursday 1890
A half cloudy day. Wind South
rather strong tearing a channel
clear down through from Carlton
to Clayton. Welly boiling sap.
Grace at school. John drove to
Edd's for the provender, E took
the Baby and went as far as her
fathers with John. Hiram Joslin
brought her home. All and
Eddy B went over river in punt.
J Niles went too. R here twisting
and doubling yarn. I not well.
Eat too many pickles. Churned.
Scalded milk for a sick calf.

March 21st 1890 Friday chilly 21 eggs cloudy
day. Wind South. E washing. Welly & I make
two kettles of soap, churned again. Rained
some in fore noon. After noon cleared
up again sun shone out. Welly goes to
sap boiling & came home late at eleven.
John at J N's playing pedro, came later
than Welly J.M. and W Dixon here
