house alone. Wellie came up and
Will Allen went down to Smiths
with him. He says he has a lead on
him as large as our cheese lot.
This morning Wallace Miles
came down for Arthur to
go home with him. M stayed
for dinner up there then
he came home & W came
with him and help do chores
then the two went over to
Will Dixons.

Monday 19
Wind South West,
a very pleasant day, the boys
and Capt. drew wood from the
Isle. Martin gone to school.
Maud & Grace done house work
and I cut carpet rags.
W. Dixon here for violin &
song book. Voltie & W gave gone
to the fish nets. The beggars
gone down the isl to night.
