A very stormy day. Wind South
West, too stormy to draw hay to Kingston.
A dance to-night at A. Persy's.
Charlie Woodman here. Martin
gone to school. Voltie mended.
Bobe to draw hay on cleared away
towards night. Voltie & Grace
went to the dance, had a fine
time, got home at 3 Oclock
in the morning, slept until 5

Friday 23rd
A fine day, very cold.
Wills Jr & Capt went to Kingston
with hay. We had breakfast at
6 O'clock. The work all done up at 7.
Martin stays at home from school.
Grant went to bed after dinner
awhile. Voltie was "snoozing", the
assessor came, Will Fauset

Another cold day. Wells Jr
& Martin gone to the city. Capt. gone
to Clayton. Grace & M and & Voltie at
home alone. Grace did all house
work. M is grunting around.
