singing at W.G. Woodmans
for the funeral tomorrow & came home at
half past 12 midnight.

Wednesday 21st March 1894
A cloudy lousy
day, raining hard at 10 AM. This is the
day the 5 bodies are brought from the vault
from Marysville and burried in our buring [sic]
place. A sad solemn sight, 5 graves dug at
once for our neighbors children. Gorge Michea, Clara Woodman, little Georgie Gillespie,
Mary Ann Watkins & little Laurence Henry,
Rev Mr White preached a very impressive
sermon. Wells couldn't find his shoe
thread this morning and so got mad &
swore and riped [sic] and tore and made
a regular ass of himself as usual.
Oh the low depisable contemptable
low mean coarseness of a dirty temper.
It is insulting and abusive.
