Friday 30th March 1894
Snow all gone again. Wind S.W.
blowing half a gale and chilly. Volty
went to Mr Rattrays to borrow a seeder,
to sow grass seed. Dellia no better, very
little hopes of her recovery. Voltie sowing
grass seed. Mart drawing manure from
house banking. Grace done a big washing.
I done cooking and churned the butter.
Maud studying her lessons. Wellie working
on Niles' boat. Grace went to the Post
ofice. A letter from Johny which is
welcome indeed. John has moved on
a farm and I am so very glad.
Evening visitors John Morgan, George
Morgan, Mr Kemp and Will Dixon.
John Morgan stays all night and
ate breakfast with us. Bill Smith does
not like the boy Laura brought from
the city.

The last day of
the month and the last day of the
week. A windy day South wind,
looking like a storm, rather warm.
Wellie & Mart drawing manure.
