Tuesday A fair day Grace finished
the parlor to day. I sowed beet seed and
made flower bed. 100 lbs milk only
no more cows calved this morning


Thursday 3rd Jan 1895
Wind South
cloudy, rather mild, cloudy
Wellie drew straw from here to
thatch, his calf stable. I rode
over to Wills on the load of straw
and staid all day, patched Charlie
Dixon's coat. Hannok Joslin's
burried [sic] to day from the vault.
Electioneers running around.
Butchered the beef to day.
Charly Easton and Will D
helped him. Grace and Mart
gone to J Niles to make an
evenng visit. Voltie came home
to day this evening.
