Saturday 2nd June 1894
A rainy day raining all day and very windey
windy. Haynes here to dinner. He came
up to plant potatoes but didnt plant for
the rain. I washed towels and
other things and hang them in the sun
to day. Grace got toothache and
gone to bed. Mr. John Montgomery
buried to day

A beautiful morning.
after the rain grain, meadows, potatoes,
fruit trees and garden every thing growing.
Wind South. Wish Belle and family
would come down to day. Alone
all day no person here all day.
