Tuesday 17 July 1894
A dry hot day,
a scorcher. Boys worked at Wellies
drawing hay. Will helped them.
Grace went to the ice cream party
at WG Woodmans. Mart went too
and rowed the skiff, got home
at 1 oclock AM. Mr Watson came
after dark. I |washed some clothes.

Wednesday 18 July 1894
A very hot day, no cloud and
Watson here. Voltie & Mart making
hay at Wellie's. No wind, Grace
got toothache.
