No rain.
Wind North,
cool and very dry leaves on
trees dying and falling; apples
droping [sic] from trees, cattle suffering
for feed and very unruly.
Visitors are Walace Niles, Frank Bamford,
Wells Jr & Eddy Bates &
of course H Watson prospective Dr of MD.
Maud & I go to Wills at 5 PM.
Voltie goes for the cows & Mart gone
off somewhere with Wall Niles
and dont get home till 9 evening.
Will came home with Maude and I.
Monday 27 Aug 1894
Very dry and
smoky. No rain, Barometer at a
stand still. H Watson went and stayed
over night with W. Jr & didnt' get back
till we had breakfasted. George Rattray
stayed here over night. Will Ranous went
home with W Jr. Grace accompanied
H Watty to the exhibition at the MEChinere
