Charley brought me home to day
a lovely Indian summer day.
We met Wellie and Edy Bates near George Ranous.
Wellie was going to Bells. Edy going to WG Woodmans.
Wellie came back with us. We found John and
Mart there on our arrival home and as Grace
had dinner all ready, we ate our dinner. Wallace
and George Niles were here too. W Jr and
V gave John 4 bags of potatoes and some
apples. I washed all the dinner dishes
while Grace and Mart went to church.
A beautiful sunset.

29 Oct Monday
A fine day. I skimmed 4
messes of milk and churned 2 times.
went all around out door and saw
the trees were bare of apples, all been
gathered in while I was gone to Bells.
I saw some pumpkins drying
on the poles, none when I went
from home.
