30th Oct Tuesday 1894
A very fine day & warm
and stuff. Hannah Rattray, Ine Joslin
burried put in the vault to day. Maud
gone to school. V, G & Mart went to
the funeral. Cleaned up oats in PM
for the scow for 26 cts per bush.
Eveline and the children came up to
stay here while Wellie plasters their house.
Barometer slowly but steadily falling.
Clouds beginning to gather for a storm
and Grace and I finished sewing our carpet
and put it down on the sitting room floor.
31 Oct Wednesday 1894
A rainy day with fierce wind
from the west. Wellie at home painting
his house. Voltie managed to
draw, yesterday and to day 200
bushels of oats. Mart went up and
brought home the other carpet for
our bedroom. George and [Lill|Lilly]
[illegible] in the evening. All Halloween
night. Grace and Eve made
the bedroom carpet. George & Lill
went home at 10 Oclock and we
[illegible] Wind blowing again
