Will came after dark for some of the
boys to go up the river to help him
set nets, could get no one so went
alone, moon shone brightly, he gone so
long R came over looking for him.
So Voltie went off up the river at eleven
to find Will, found him all right
came home and went to bed

Thursday A beautiful day
wind N cool. Johny drove with
Volty & Grace to the dock took a
bag of wheat to mill, came back
milked all the cows and drove to
the factory. Grace gone to Bells.
John finished plowing the orchard
and is now pulverizing. Maud
lives out doors most of the time
she enjoys the warm sunshine and
her cheeks are red as twin roses.
Welly here gone up to his nets. Will
here. I dont feel well.
