R came over too and I talked too
much, all tired out. I sat up an hour
this morning. Charley went over to Will's.
Will gave him some sourkrout [sic: sauerkraut]. John and
Grace went to church and to prayer
meeting in evening. Lill Niles here all
afternoon. Jen and the children sick.
Miss J Holliday very sick. Tom Hall and
Milly sick and destitute. Welly sick
all day.

Saturday 25th A cold day, wind
blows strong from West, cloudy. Wells got
his own breakfast and started for
Kingston long before daylight. I
very sick all day. Doctor called
to see me at night, he had been
down to doctor old Mrs. Coxall,
