A very good day. Wind North.
Scarcely any snow but freezing.
John went to school. Grace sick
with Gripp, had to give up and
go to bed. Rachel came over and
helped some. Eveline took care of
baby and made Grace a dress &
done house work. Welly not very
well. Talks of setting a fish net
for perch. I am up around most
all day but not well, knit on
sock. Wells working out doors
most all day. John came home from
school & helped clean up 50 bushels
of oats for market. Rachel went
home at dark. Welly wanted to go over
to Linda's to chop wood but his father said
over there was [illegible]
