Looks very much like rain
but holds off. V in shop making
a tongue for cultivator for Frank W.
Frank here most all day, ate dinner here.
Grace painted summer kitchen then papered
and cleaned one of the small bedrooms
up stairs. In evening Grace &
Voltie go to Al Joslin's to a sugar
party & dont return till morning. 6 am.
Charlie Holliday here, ate dinner at Wills

Maud goes visiting to Wellies.
A soft morning looks
like rain and that is all
didn't call Grace this morning
let her lie till she came down
of her own mind. Grace cleaned
kitchen pantry, painted summer
kitchen another coat of paint,
then cleaned and [?]
the East bedroom up stairs.
Frank Woodman here helping V saw wood.
Frank about half asleep. Sent the carpet rags
to Mrs N by V & F.
