The cold March
winds are fiercely blowing from
the west and freezing hard.
Wellie came up and brought
Hubert with him. Eveline & Muriel
came up at 9 a.m., stayed till
evening. Wellie went to R Gillespies
Howe Island. Will D went too.
Voltie went to Cape Vincent
for seed house beans and bought
wall paper and bordering also tobaco
and letter paper. Wells Sr cut his
foot. Wellie, Voltie & Will went over on the
ice boat looking for Mart and found
Mart had stayed at Beedles last night
and had struck out looking for work.
Irene churned. W. H. Woodmans wife
very sick. Dr Spankie down to see her
to day.
