Wednesday 20th March 1895
A beautiful day snow settling in the
hot rays of the sun. Boys moved the
ice house this morning and then
Wells Sr & Jr drove up on the ice to Kingston.
Voltie went too Millens Bay for kerosine.
Mart and Voltie with him. Grace washed
the clothes. V & Mart drove up to the net
but got only two fish, perch. A Patrons
meeting at Elly Woodmans this
evening, and ice boat race in K
to day. Lost a calf this morning.
Geo Rattray drove in here to din.
Voltie for balance for Threshing.
Well, Grace and I have just finished washing
the tea dishes and I ought to finnish
patching Marts overalls but guess I'll put to off till
tomorrow morning. I darned and mended
clothes for Mart to day. A bright starnight
