Monday 25 March 1895
We awoke this morning to find the
rain pouring down. Set the wash
tub and soon had a tub full of water.
Voltie working around the barn nearly all
day it cleared away at noon, sun shone
brightly out. W Jr took his nets from out
the ice. Snow rapidly disapearing
fields are getting bare but great banks
of snow are yet piled up against board
fences. Mended V coat and darned socks
and cut carpet rags. Helmer Woodman,
Will Irvine & J Irvine called here this evening
for Voltie & stoped on their way to Burnham
for W Jr to join the Patrons of Industry.
They left their horses here untill their
return. Wells Sr writing a letter to John McCohn
this eve. Grace & Maud returning
early another calf at the barn
