Saturday 13 April
A medium
sort of day rather cloudy
but didn't rain. V & his father
worked at coping the S.W. side house
till nearly six Oclock. Maude
brought eleven eggs. Grace set a hen
In evening V went to Jr to make a
visit. Frank Woodman there & Will D.
They played checkers. We had
pumpkin pie for supper and sat up
reading till near eleven. Grace
ciphering all evening. Mr Watson
was to come to day but I supose
weather prevented. Maud and I
sowed flower seeds in an old tin
pan and decorated it with broom splinters.
