Arose this morning at 4 Oclock.
Grace and Voltie going to Kingston
on the ice if they can drive on the ice.
Not very cold but snow falling and
has been snowing all night. At
day light they start, Frank W putting
in a horse with old Nell before our sleigh.
Frank taking up a load of apples which
fills the whole hind end of sleigh. Wells
carries out the butter 33 lbs and, the
turkeys (2 of them) and can scarely find room
in sleigh for them, and away they go. V & G
sitting in front, and Frank can hardly
find standing room. Wells gave V $1 dollar
to pay in office to day, and three more for
Grace's doctor bill. Wells hitches Jesse to the
cutter and drives with Maud to school
snow lightly falling all day. Get dinner
early and Sr goes to Obriens to get cutter irons
fixed after painting 2 old chairs in [illegible]
and stay till school is out for afternoon.
