Thursday 31st January 1895
A beautiful winter day, sun clear and bright over all this
[illegible] wide expanse of snow. Lizzie Horne
[illegible] bright and early sewing on Grace's dress.
Wells Jr & Martin gone to Gananoque to mill.
Voltie hitched up horses before jumper and
I went down to see Eveline & children. Then Will took
team from Wellies and drove with Jen & baby to
the foot to Nesbit's. I stayed till after dark when V
came for me, staid to supper, ariving at home found
Robert and Louise Horn here, all staid till 12 midnight
then went home taking Lizzie with them, got work done.
