A very fine day warm weather
no snow no ice no frost. Rachel
came over with Voltie when he came
from ditching. She said Mrs Dignum
had made her a visit brought her
cloth 3 yds for an apron and staid
to dinner. Sr "Horse de combat" tried
to have a auction with R on Christmas
eve.

Christmas Day

A beautiful soft day, no snow
nor frost. Rachel came over to Christmas,
didnt have anything unusual for
dinner only a fruit cake, mince
pie, fried ham, mashed potatoes, QC
Sr "horse de combat" a still quiet
day like Sunday. I would like
to have heard from Belle, Wellie,
Johny and Will's family and
my grandchildren and their
families, my nephews and their
families, my nieces & their families
but I heard from none of them.
