[1903 - INCOMPLETE] of going into the Church. I found that I was not up to it.

I wonder if you have met R.H.Brand yet: he is a great friend of mine. He knew Cubbie very well and was travelling with him just before he died. He wil be a great deal missed, will he not?

You must be tremendously hard worked with all these lands to look after. The accountancy detail must be appalling. I am very grateful to you for writing me such a long letter when you must have such a lot to do.
