My dearest wee Mother

Yesterday was a lovely Spring day. Nan & I walked to Oxford, where we shopped & met Susie & came home in the car.

In the afternoon Nan went with Susie to Beckley & Mr John & I went birdwatching. They went down to see the little boys after tea. To day it is wet, but mild - good weather for the country. We are just off to church. We are all very well, & I think old Nan is having a good rest. She is a delight to have in the house.
