about your way of putting your
judgments which appeals very
specially to me--what the law
has lost, literature has gained,
many & real thanks to you
from us both.

We got home from Canada &
the States a week ago and are
settling down again as best we
may to ordinary life after ex-
periences which quite bore out all
you foretold. Such hospitality!
I hope we shall soon have a chance
of recounting our adventures to you,
and comparing notes.
