I daresay this little
vol: of mine is quite unknown
in London, although Henry Munro Ltd
the publisher, is at 119 Fleet St.
It is a book for Scots - if
for any.

In 1926 I retired on pension
from "The Glasgow Herald" of whose
Agric[ultura]l Cols I had charge for
a long time. I very greatly
admired your Rosebery article.
At the time I said to
Sir R. Bruce I had never seen
its match as a sum up in
the "Herald".
