I got two delightful letters from you last night. The boys will have some adventures before they come to their rookeries. Your weather is very different from ours. Here it is blue & bright all day with marvellous sunsets.

As we fish till after 8, it gets very cold, but the middays are like June. It is a most lovely place.
I had no luck at all yesterday on my bank - only rose one fish as it was getting dark, which I took after a sharp struggle. But Neville got 4, which is
a good omen for the future of the Party! I have had some most interesting talks with him
To day I am going out with Mr Wood, & hope to learn a good deal, for he is probably the greatest fisherman living.
