Dear Lady Tweedsmuir,

It was a great privilege,
as well as a delight and refresh-
ment, to stay at Government House
and I do greatly appreciate your
kindness in entertaining me. This is
not just a formal 'Thank you'.

Since leaving Ottawa I have
stopped at Fredericton and Saint
John and am now at my last halt.
At Fredericton I met two men
who, each in their way, made a
