Septr 28th 1893

A special meeting of the Board was held this
day in the College buildilng at 4.00 P.M.

Present: The Chairman (Mr Pense), RV Rogers,
Principal Grant, Dr TM Fenwick, AP Knight,
RM Horsey, Mrs Dickson, Miss Gildersleeve.

Having considered fully the condition
of prospects of the College it was resolved

"That the object with which the Women's
Medical College was started, of enabling Canadian
women to obtain an education in medicine in
their own country, having been accomplished, and
the starting of schools in Toronto & Montreal,
subsequent to our initiative & it being evident
that there are not a sufficient number
of students to supply three schools and
have them efficiently equipped, Resolved that
the Board do now close the Kingston Women's
Medical College and recommend their students
to complete their course either in Toronto
or Montreal."

The meeting then adjourned.
