Moved by Principal Grant & seconded by Mrs Dickson
& resolved that the property be offered for $4000.xx to
the Children's Aid Society of Kingston at $4000.xx
the offer to remain open for one week, and that
a committee consisting of the Chairman
RV Rogers & Miss Gildersleeve be authorized
to carry out the details of this resolution.
It was agreed that in case any of
the Creditors of the College should transfer
their claims against the College in writing to
the Children's Aid Society, that the receipts
of such creditors shall be accepted as part
payment of the Four Thousand dollars.
The meeting then adjourned for
one week.
Oct. 1st 1894
An adjourned meeting of the shareholders was
held this day pursuant to notice in the Whig
and in accordance with resolution at meeting
of Septr 24th to receive the report of the Committee
on sale of the building or
an answer from the Children's Aid Society
and to take further proceedings regarding
the disposal of the property.
Present: The Chiarman (Mr Pense) and
Messrs Rogers, Knight, Principal Grant &
Miss Gildersleeve
The Committee reported a legal difficulty
in the purchase of the Building
by the Children's Aid Soceity, and the
Committee
