Principal for information respecting the steps for
obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Arts was then
taken into consideration. When it was
agreed that in consideration of his having completed
three regular Sessions at Scottish Universities,
(four of which Sessions would have entitled him
to compete for the Higher degree of Master of Arts
in Scotland,) the Senatus of this University are
prepared to admit him as a Candidate at
the regular Examination for Degrees at the Close of
the present Session in April next, on condition
of his qualifying himself generally in the Subjects
of Examination prescribed for Candidates
for the above Degree this Session, and likewise
of his being enrolled as a Student in the Classes
of Natural & Moral Philosophy sometime before
the Fifteenth Day of January, and giving attendance
