Queen's College
28th February 1852.

Senatus met this day by adjournment & was
constituted by Prayer. Present Revd. Dr. Machar,
Professors Williamson and Smith.

Complaints having been made to the Senatus in
regard to Outdoor Students causing annoyance
to those resident in the Boarding House—which
complaints were supported by Mr. John Campbell,
Director of the Boarding House, the Janitor, Mssrs
Asa Walbridge, Alexander McLennan & Donald
McDonald—the senatus resolved, in consequence
of the representations made to them, to give
directions to Mr. Campbell and the Janitor, to
allow none of the Students not residing in the
Boarding House to enter the private rooms of
the Boarding House without the written permission
of one of the Professors.
