Weir. The Minutes of former meeting were read and
approved.

John Goodwill, Alexander Hunter, James
Carmichael, Andrew Watson, and Daniel McDonald
were represented as being in very needy
circumstances. The Bursary Fund by the previous
demands upon it, being already overdrawn, it was
agreed that the Principal should apply to the
Trustees to advance $200 in the meantime
to meet the present wants of the above named
Students.

The Secretary stated thatthere were now
$224 in his hands at the disposal of the
Senatus for the purchase of books for the Library.
Professors Lawson and Weir were appointed
a Committee for the purchase of books, and to
take other steps for the better arranging, managing
and increase of the College Library.

After careful and joint views of the Oral and
Written Examinations, it was agreed to confer the
degree of Bachelor of Arts on,

James Alexander Somerville, Kingston C.W.
And the degree of Doctor of Medicine on
Francis W, Bird, Belleville C.W.
Arthur R. Boyle, St Catherines C.W.
