The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Snodgrass, Professors
Williamson, Mowat, Dupuis, Ferguson.

The minutes of the meeting held
8th inst. were read and approved.

The Senate arranged as follows
for the examination of the Prize Essays
and Poems:

Essay on Light to be examined by Profs. Williamson & Dupuis
" " Kant's Critique " " Watson & Ferguson
" " Milton " Ferguson & Mowat
" " Oratory of the Greeks " Watson & Mr. Ross
Poem on Livingston, Death of - Principal & Prof Mowat
Lecture on Heb. 9.6-14. do do

Closed with prayer
