London Presbytery

David Strachan

The Principal reported that the London
Presbytery had intimated their intention
of founding a Gaelic Presbyterial Scholarship,
reserving to themselves the right of
recommendation, and that they had
recommended Mr. David Strachan for the
scholarship during the present session, also
that Mr. Strachan had been examined
on the matriculation subjects of this year,
and that his appearance was such as to
admit of the recommendation of the Presbytery
being carried into effect.

The Senatus met and was constituted.

The minutes of last meeting were read
and approved.

A number of excuses for absence from
prayers was disposed of.

Gram. School[/margin]

In accordance with a Report of the Committee
appointed to consider how the Arts
Professors might best discharge the duty of
visitors of the County Grammar School, it
was agreed that the Arts Professors shall
visit the School in the following order:
Prof. Murray February and March
Prof. McKerras April and May
