Neander Fenwick, Andrew M. Gibson, and
Solomon C. McLean obtained a sufficient
number of marks at the written examination
to exempt them from the oral examination.

of certificates by the following
medical undergraduates named in alphabetical
order, viz.

Alfred David, Picton
Jacob Bruce Kennedy, Smithville
Charles Henry Lavell, Kingston
Samuel Thompson Macadam, Pakenham
Alexander Stuart McLennan, Glengary
James McMahon, Kingston
Alvanly Newton Purdy, Loughborough
Hugh Spear, Garden Island
William Wymond Walkem, Kingston

to be in accordance with their regulations,
and the reports of the Examiners to be in favour
of their passing resolved that the said
candidates have passed their final examination
in Medicine, and agreed to confer and
hereby do confer the degree of Doctor of Medicine
upon each of these gentlemen except Mr.
Lavell, and agreed to hold him entitled to
the degree so soon as he shall have reached
his majority. Of these graduates Messrs Kennedy,
Lavell, and McLennan obtained a
sufficient number of marks at the written
examination to exempt them from the oral
examination:
