Trustees in the opinion that in accordance with the
resolutions of the General Assembly the previous year, 1899,
it is competent and desirable for the Board of the
University to seek such legislation as is necessary to
effect the separation between the Theological Faculty
and the other Faculties of the University, giving to the
Theological Faculty separate and independent
incorporation, and to make such changes in the Constitution
of the University as will render it entirely undenominational
in its character."

A copy of this resolution to be transmitted to the
Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
