These business and personal details having been disposed of,the Board receives the finding of the assembly Commission or the proposed change in the Charter of the University;and although rather long,its importance warrants a full record:
"at Kingston,and within Queen's University,there,the eleventh day of February,one thousand nine hundredand four years,at ten o'clock in the morning.
"The Commission of the General assembly,after conference with Queen's University,met,as per adjournment,and was constituted.

Inter Alias:
"the commission of Assembly, prebyterian Church
inCanada, in conference with the Trustees of Queen's
University, having sent down the Presbeteries of the
three central synods of the Church, the conclusions at which
it had arrived at its former meeting in terms of
the intructions recieved from the General Assembly, twenty five
out of the twenty seven Presbyteries have heard from.
and the commision having fully examined and duly
weighed said returns, finds:

"1 That they generally express a warm appreciation of the
great service which Queens University has rendered to
the hight education of the country.
2 That twenty four of the twenty five Presbeteries express
a desire for the continuence of queens university in
