SAPIENT ET DOCTRINA TABILITAS
[image-university crest]

1904 - 05

The Presbyterial Committees would arrange for meetings
to be addressed by Dr. Gordon, or others, for the University,
and would invite to such meetings all the graduates
and friends of Queen's within the bounds. And, finally,
the Principal submitted a clear, succint statement,
showing (1) that $20,000.00 additional revenue was needed,
(2) how it was to be applied, when secured.

The Conference then adjourned [underline] sine die [/underline], and was closed
with the benediction.

In the lengthy course of these many important meetings
of Committees and Conferences, severally and jointly,
utmost harmony and goodwill prevailed, and Queen's
seemed to be well grounded in the affection of
the Presbyterian people! Standing high among
the leading Universities of the Domincan, attracting
students from every province, and in all her
departments showing a sturdy growth, outlay
would surely and steadily increase, and time would
tell, at no distant day, whether the supply
would prove equal to the demand.
