2nd. The Theological Department has been
hitherto supported entirely by a Grant, at plea-
sure, from the Colonial Committee of the Church of
Scotland.

3rd. The Trustees have it in contemplation
to appoint at the earliest period possible, a Profes-
sor of Logic and Moral Philosophy, the labor of a
Professor in this Department having now become
indispensable in consequence of the increasing
number of Students.

I am farther requested by the Board of
Trustees to state that while the Board have
readily given the information now submitted
for the information of His Excellency and the
Legislature Assembly, it will be seen for their
Charter, a copy of which is herewith transmitted, that
it is not obligatory on them to furnish such in-
formation.
