inclined to take a favourable view of the application of
Trinity Medical College School, it was desirable to defer
further consideration of the matter until the University
Council had had an opportunity of expressing an
opinion on the question of the affiliation of this and
other colleges and schools elsewhere.

The matter of the Subscription from Montreal
and Toronto promised to augment increase in Professors'
salaries was brought up, when the Toronto Committee
represented by Rev D.J. Macdonnell reported that their
share would be forthcoming, and the Montreal Committee
represented by Rev Mr Campbell reported that they
would do their best to collect their share.

It was resolved to grant
$860 towards completing the finishing of the Museum,
and at the request of Dr. Goodwin, a grant of between
$200 and $300 was promised to secure a stock of
chemicals for the Laboratory and Practical Classes.

At the suggestion of Mr. J.T Drummond, who
thought that various valuable publications issued by the
United States could be secured, if proper application
was made for them, a Committee was appointed to
secure additions to the Library, and to co-operate with
the Librarian in procuring from various Governments
and other parties such valuable publications as
are from time to time issued by them.
