The number of Students during this Academical year was

The College Staff was the same as that of last Session,
except that in October the Revd Mr. Leitch M. A. entered upon
the duties of his office of Principal and Primarious Professor of
Divinity, and Dr. Lavell was appointed to the Chair of Midwifery,
and Diseased of Women and Children, and Dr. Litchfield to that of
the Institutes of Medicine.

A Law Faculty also was added, composed of
three of the most distinguished members of the Kingston Bar,
