special claim upon the consideration of the
Government from the fact that its establishment
was due to the sectarian exclusiveness of King's

seconded by J.M. Machar M.A. " That
Universities, other than Toronto are entitled to
consideration owing to the fact that they educate a
majority of those taking a course in liberal arts."

seconded by P.M. Pollock B.A. "That since these
institutions, equally with Toronto, form the completion
of the educational system of the Province, they are
equally entitled to share the gifts of the Province to
