Hospitals Thargomindah Applying for Pauper Grant

Honorable Sir
I am instructed by my committee make application to you for such portion of the "Pauper Grant" as naturally devolves to this Hospital. The institution has had the burial of several paupers thrust upon it. and; the funds may not stand too severe a strain. Trusting to receive due consideration at your hands.

If Col. Sec. will receive a deputation in re Water Carriage & disposal of Sewage
Sir,
I have the honor by direction to inform you that at the last meeting of the Council it was unanimously agreed that the Council should address the Honble the Premier with a view to obtaining the advice of a First Class Sanitary Engineer to assist in carrying out a System of watercarriage and disposal of Sewage.
A deputation has been appointed to give effect to the foregoing. Would you kindly ascertain if the Honble The Premier will receive the Deputation if so kindly state the time and place.
You would further oblige by giving us sufficient time to get the Members of the Deputation together, several of whom are away from Brisbane.
