I have the honour to enclose applications
from John [Gault?], Henry [Lentfar?], Robert
[Shields?], William Rutson & Daniel Duggan
for admittence to the Government Benevolent
Asylum, Dunwich [?] and my Committee
would be greatly obliged if you could
make provision to receive them into the
above Institution. One [Lensfer?] has been
in the Institution for over 5 years, Rutson
2 years and the others are frequently inmates
for months together, they do not require
medical treatment are a severe tax upon
the funds of the Institution and are
occupying valuable space which more
urgent cases need. At present and for
several months past the Hospital has
been overcrowded and the officers are [?]
to their wits end where to accommodate patients
at present there are [?] 65 cases under treatment
the usual average previous to this year being
about 45. I have the honour to be
