[letterhead: Office of Director of Native Affairs, William Street. Brisbane, B.7.

1A/230 LMcD/BF 29th January, 1960.

The Superintendent, Cherbourg Settlement, via MURGON.

With regard to the meaning of certain names of Lakes in the Tewantin District submitted this Office by Mr. G. LeQuesne, I should be pleased to receive advice from you whether you may be able to supply the meaning of two previously unknown to you, namely "Donella" and "Cooroibah".

A further inquiry has been received from Queensland Air Lines requesting a suitable name for a new type of 'plane to be put in use and a suggestion was made by the Liaison Officer of that firm that perhaps a name meaning Eagle or Eagle Hawk or any such bird of prey may be suitable. Any such names available this Office have not been considered suitable and if you have any suggestion I would be pleased to receive advice from you.
