The Under Secretary, Home Department, draws our
a ttention to the fact that the list of Aboriginal names of
places, and their meaning, requested on December 5t. last has
not yet been received and he would beglad if you would attend
to the matter as early as possible.

I beg to report re your Memo above that I am endevouring
to have the list of aboriginals names and meanings completed
but the matter is a little difficult as all the old abos are
now on a walk about. However I will have the matter attended
to as soon as possible and forward on to you
I regeret this delay but is it unavoidable.
