be entailed upon the Colony of
Queensland, in consequence of the
high rate of fares charges by the
Colonial Steamers. It is estimated
by the Agent for Immigation in
New South Wales that "to forward
'the Remittance Immigrants by
"Sydney vessels would entail an
"additional expense of about 30
"per cent for their introduction".

13. Under these Circumstances
the Commissioners will doubtless
concur in deeming it most
desirable that these Immigrants
should be forwarded by vessels
Coming direct to Moreton Bay.
